Tom kha soup is amazing here so lemony and zesty. My favorite place to get pick up after a long cold day at work

We have been here multiple and the food is always delicious! We've tried the pad see ew, curry, pad Thai, and mango sticky rice. Highly recommend!

Incredibly underrated! Please, please come here if you're having a thai food craving! This place truly deserves more attention. I've been here twice now with my partner and both visits the food here was *excellent*. My partner has been to Thailand and even still she feels this has to be the best pad thai she's ever had. We had the pork pad thai both visits and the flavors, texture, presentation, and temperature were all on point. Squeezing the wedge of lime provided the perfect amount of acidity to balance the dish. The way the tamarind notes come through to meld with the noodles, and the smokiness too. This is not your run of the mill pad thai. This is legit. The attention to detail with their pad thai, down to their peanut crumble, is fantastic. We also tried their crispy pork belly pad kra pao, and their drunken noodles. Both were awesome! They also play jazz music on their speakers so the restaurant has a very comfortable and classy vibe to it. There's also little to no wait here both times we visited and plenty of parking in the plaza. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get their Thai food fix!

Ordered Uber eats delivery from this Thai, everything was surprisingly delicious in large portions. I'v never seen the actual restaurant though cause we don't go to West Covina usually. The food arrived fast enough and packaged well enough. For food the spicy catfish was so flavorful, catfish is one of my favorite Thai dishes. Wonton soup, fried rice and flaming drunken noodles with shrimps were tasty as well. Just the rice noodles were a bit too spicy for my liking. Overall the items we have tried were very good and prices were fair. We would order food delivery from this Thai again!

As soon as you walk into Tantawan, you're hit with a pretty big whiff of fish sauce, tamarind and other Thai spices; so you know immediately it's going to be a very rich experience. It doesn't get very busy for sit-down meals, but there's a constant stream of take-out orders. There were probably 2x more take-out orders in our 1 hour dinner than sit down orders. And their phone was constantly ringing. We ordered 5 dishes to share and it was the perfect amount of food. The Pad Thai is very saucy compared to other places, which I really enjoyed. The drunken noodle was also very good and flavorful. The chow mein was a bit on the salty side, but still tasty. Overall, it was good experience and we would come back.

My friend recommended this place since it's their favorite Thai restaurant in the area. We ordered the Pad Ga Prow with ground chicken with side fried eggs (forgot to take a picture of them) and Pad See You with beef. Both dishes were very delectable and packed with Thai flavors and spices. Quick and nice service. It's a nice lil Thai restaurant inside the same plaza as all these Filipino Bakeries, Jollibee, nail salons, and other businesses. Plenty of parking available. Will have to stop by again to try their other menu selections.

I have tried the Tantawan Thai Kitchen in Rosemead, but this was the first my family tried this location. Food: 4/5 We went as a group of 5 and got six dishes to share. We got the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Green Curry, Fried Catfish with Red Curry, Beef Salad, and Seafood Combination Soup. The green curry and pad see ew were our favorite, hence why there's no pictures of it. The green curry with beef was flavorful and the mild was perfect. It does not come with rice but we got a family size bowl on the side. The pad see ew with tofu was delicious and a great combination of savory and sweet. The beef salad and cat fish were pretty good, I like the spiciness of the red curry that came with the catfish. The soup and pad Thai however were not great. The soup was a bit too sour for me and the pad Thai was a little too sweet and soggy. Price: 4/5 Our total bill came out to around $120 for 5 people and six dishes plus a large side of rice. The green curry was a lot bigger than most other places. The pad see ew and pad Thai were a little on the smaller side. We were really satisfied with the meal, we finished all six dishes,. Service: 5/5 The service was fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive and food came our relatively quick. Overall, I would give this place a five star and would definitely come back for their green curry and to try some of their other dishes.

Prices are decent for the basic Thai dishes. Favorite would be the red bbq pork over rice except they never put enough crispy pork belly. It's good but would be perfect if they added more crispy pork belly. Calamari is HUGE! Like onion rings. Found all the way in the back corner of shared parking lot. Lots of parking.
